Welcome!  Honored to know you are thinking about the engagement of therapeutic work. It is one of the most courageous decisions you will ever make, and I am honored to be considered as joining in your journey.  I am a Pacific Northwestern native and after having lived in various cities, I find myself abundantly grateful to call this beautiful place home.  I spend a lot of time on the water and I echo the sentiment by author Isak Dinesen when she wrote, "the cure for anything is salt water: sweat, tears or the sea."

I enjoy the mountains, hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, art, music, and spending time with the ones in whom I can fully be at rest.  I have a Bachelors of Business Administration with a concentration in International/Global Business, and a degree in Spanish from Pacific Lutheran University.  I graduated with a Masters in Psychology and Counseling from The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology.

My passion for this work is rooted in the desire to see people feeling at home and alive within their own skin in whatever shape that takes.  This comes from extending greater compassion and kindness toward oneself and is what ultimately leads to a greater sense of wellbeing.  Neuroscience confirms that when we allow our genuine, authentic, and multiple selves to show up in relationship, our inner paradigms (neural pathways) shift, which in turn eases symptoms replacing them with feelings of greater agency and vitality.

Symptoms do not indicate you are defective, they are cues inviting you to investigate what within your sphere needs tending. In clinical terms this could be said as having internalized a punitive super ego from your family of origin that keeps one locked in rigidity leaving little room for internal flow and freedom. This rigidity may be impacting relationships, how one views oneself and one's capabilities within the world .  I view it as a deep honor to journey with my clients through places and spaces where they have been largely alone and remained perhaps a little too isolated within themselves.
